Jeffrey A. Starner, President:
Professional
Mr. Starner is the President of Five Star Moving & Storage, Inc. and Five Star Transfer, LLC, in Marietta, Ohio. He is also a partner in Two Rivers Development Limited, an industrial warehouse and property management company.
He has served on the Board of Trustees of the Ohio Trucking Association. He is a past President of the Mid-Ohio Valley Traffic Club. Mr. Starner is also the past president of the Ohio Household Goods Carriers’ Bureau. He is also a current board member of the Ohio Association of Movers. Mr. Starner has also been a recipient of its Hall of Fame Award for distinguished service.
Education and Academic Activities
Mr. Starner graduated from Marietta Senior High School. He then graduated with a B.A. in History from Marietta College in 1975. While there, he later served as President of the Marietta College Alumni Association. He is a Life Associate Trustee of Marietta College. Mr. Starner served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the College from 1994 to 1999. He was selected as the Distinguished Alumnus of Marietta College in 2005. Mr. Starner is a member of the Joseph Cotton Society of Marietta College.
Community
Mr. Starner a member and Past President of the Marietta Rotary Club. He serves as Chairman of the Marietta Civil Service Commission. He is a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Marietta, where he serves as Chairman of the Administrative Board.
Tom Weihl, Vice President
Tom has been with Five Star Moving and Storage for 30 years. Beginning as a mover, he went on to work in operations for 15 years. Tom now handles both operations and sales for Five Star Moving and Storage, Inc. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, and participating in outdoor activities in his hometown of Marietta, Ohio.
Sheri Riggins, Administrative Assistant
Sheri Riggins has been with Five Star Moving & Storage, Inc. for six months as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoys spending time with family, Girl Scouts, and fishing in hometown of Little Hocking, Ohio.
Marie Meade, Head of Accounting
Marie Meade joined the Five Star family in 2022. She is a lifelong resident of the Mid-Ohio Valley and a graduate of Marietta College. She has resided in Vincent with her husband and two kids since his discharge from the Army I 2007. She enjoys horseback riding and ling walks on the beach. Her most recent hobby is quilting.
